HGMS KANSAS STATE ASSESSMENT

Just a reminder that March 21st is the first day for Kansas State Assessments in English Language Arts, Math, and Science. We will be testing through April 2, with makeups beginning April 5. It is even more important that every student be at school during this time so that they can avoid being pulled out later to complete missed assessments. If at all possible, please try to ensure that students are at school each day.

Due to the amount of time it takes to complete assessments, we will adjust our schedule for testing days to a block schedule. As you can see in the schedule below, students will have only odd numbered classes on some days, and even numbered classes on others. Our PTA has graciously donated snacks so that students eating third lunch can have a something to eat prior to their assigned lunch time since it is later in the day.

This is our students’ opportunity to show what they know. Thank you in advance for your support during this important time for our school and your student.
